This guide will help you create templates for billing purposes.

Creating Templates For Billing

To enhance efficiency, Exatorial allows you to group items into templates. This feature is useful for recurring bills or standard service packages.

Here's how to create a template.

  1. Navigate to the "Templates" section.

  2. Click on "Create Template".

  3. In the new window, provide the following information:

    a. Template Name: Choose a clear, descriptive name.

    b. Items: Select the items you want to include in this template.

Upon completion, you'll be automatically redirected to the template overview page.

For billing purposes, you have to choose between a one-time payment or multiple payments (periods).

One-Time Payment Template

  1. Click "One Time"

  2. For each item, enter:

• Price

• Quantity

• Discount percentage (if applicable)

3. The subtotal, tax, and total amount will be calculated automatically

4. Add multiple items as needed.

5. Click "Save" to finalize the template.

Multiple Payments (Period) Template

  1. Click "Period"

  2. Use "Add Schedule" to set payment durations

a. Billing Date: The date on which the bill is generated and sent to the customer.

b. Period Start Date: The beginning date of the billing period for which the customer is being charged.

c. Period End Date: The ending date of the billing period for which the customer is being charged.

d. Due Date: The date by which the payment must be received to avoid any late fees or penalties.

3. Enter item details as in the one-time payment process

4. Add multiple schedules if required

5. Click "Save" to finalize the template

Your finished billing template is now available for generating invoices quickly and consistently, ready for immediate use in the billing process. By utilizing templates, you can significantly reduce the time spent on bill creation while maintaining accuracy and professionalism in your invoicing process.
