After setting up your taxes, the next step is to add items for billing. An item is a product or service that you sell or bill for within your organization. Each item in your billing system includes specific details like the item name, tax code, price, and description.

Items help in billing by ensuring accurate and efficient invoice generation, applying correct tax codes, and maintaining consistency in product and service details. This streamlines the billing process and enhances customer transparency. Here's how to create items efficiently.

  1. Navigate to the Item Section.

  2. Click on "Add Item."

  3. In the pop-up window, enter the following details:

a. Item Name: A clear, identifiable title for the product or service.

b. Tax Code: Select the appropriate tax code from your created list.

c. Price: Enter the item's cost.

d. Description: Provide a brief explanation of the item (optional but recommended).

  1. Click "Create Tax Item" to finalize.

You can edit any of the items as needed.

You can repeat this process to add multiple items to your billing catalogue. This streamlined item creation process allows you to quickly build a comprehensive list of products or services, each associated with the correct tax code for accurate billing.
